I can safely say that today’s show was one of my favorite’s in a long, long time – I think that the songs flowed well, I had some good conversations on AIM with listeners, and the transitions were tremendous.

I know I went a bit overboard on the I’m Not There Soundtrack but I’m quite impressed by it. I encourage you to check it out and check out the movie when it comes out and form your own opinion on it.

Here’s what you heard this morning:
U2 – “Bad (Live)” (from Wide Awake in America EP)
Eddie Vedder & the Million Dollar Bashers – “All Along the Watchtower” (from I’m Not There Soundtrack)
Jose Gonzales – “Down the Line” (from In Our Nature)

The Replacements – “Left of the Dial” (from Tim)
Talking Heads – “What a Day That Was” (from Stop Making Sense)

This morning’s show was a bit hectic – sound problems and a slow computer will do that sometimes – but it was certainly enriched by my guest DJ Alyssa and some great songs (of course).

Here’s what you heard:
Feist – “My Moon, My Man” (from My Moon, My Man EP)
Bright Eyes – “Four Winds” (from Four Winds EP)
The Replacements – “Left of the Dial” (from Tim)
Colin Meloy – “Everyday is Like Sunday” (from Colin Meloy Sings Morrisey EP)
The Rapture – “Don Gon Do It” (from Pieces of the People We Love)
Neil Young – “Ohio (live)” (from Live at Massey Hall 1971)

Yo La Tengo – “Mr. Tough” (from I Am Not Afraid of You and I Will Beat Your Ass)
Ted Leo – “Nothing Much To Say” (from Mo’ Livin’ EP)
TV On The Radio – “Wolf Like Me (live)” (from Live at Amoeba Music)

Lily Allen – “Smile” (from Alright, Still)
Arcade Fire – “Keep The Car Running” (from Neon Bible)
The Thrills – “One Horse Town” (from So Much for the City)

Today’s show (if I may say so myself) was fantastic. The best days are the ones where the songs seem to pick themselves and that was the case today.
